The Academy was formed with help from Advance Rural Education (ARE), a nonprofit organization. ARE was created by Enviro Systems, Inc.’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Paul Campbell, in March 2016 to support the Academy and other rural educational initiatives. Additionally, Lee Denney, Barbara Adams, and Daniel Wyatt became the first board members of the Academy of Seminole. Dillon Robinson later joined the board. Each board member’s resume will be discussed in more detail below, but in general the members selected offered a wide range of experience in education policy, financial and strategic planning, as well as an interest in the specific needs of students in Seminole (with two of the members having children in the Seminole School District).

Daniel Wyatt - Board President
Daniel Wyatt and his wife, Stacie Wyatt, have two children – Alexis who is 9 and Daniel Jr. (DJ) who is 8. DJ already has plans to be an engineer when he grows up and Alexis is debating between being a doctor or a teacher. Daniel and his family have lived in Seminole since 2006. They love the small-town life and enjoy raising their family here. While being blessed to work with one of the greatest manufacturing companies in the world, Daniel has worked in the Aviation industry for 10+ years. During this time, He has also been presented with opportunities to succeed within the company throughout the years. He is currently the Vice President of Operations. Before this he held positions as Director of Customer Business, Materials Manager, Cost Analyst and Contracts Administrator.
Due to encouragement and opportunities presented by a man Daniel held in high regard, he went to school at night for 6 years, while working full-time, to earn his MBA (2014) and Bachelors in Business (2012) from St. Gregory’s University. Before attending St. Gregory’s, he earned his Associate’s Degree from Seminole State College (2010). It is Daniel’s belief to continually learn and seek wisdom from those who impact his life in a positive manner. He promises to continue to grow in leadership and excellence, while challenging and developing himself and others along the way. His goal is to make sure those he helps are prepared in life when an opportunity is presented.
Barbara Adams - Board Secretary
Barbara Adams is a mother of four. Her school aged children currently attend the Seminole Public School System in the 2nd, 7th, and 8th grades. Her children participate in several of the community’s extracurricular activities, such as the Academic Team, Softball, Football, Basketball, Track, and Upward Sports. They attend First Baptist Church in Seminole. Barbara graduated from Tecumseh High School and moved to Seminole in 2007 when she and her husband, Mark, purchased a house. Barbara and her family have lived in Seminole for 9+ years. Barbara received her Associates of Business in Science from Seminole State College. After graduating, she attended St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee and is close to completing her Bachelors of Business Administration. Barbara worked in Seminole for 3 years as a bookkeeper and payroll coordinator, before transitioning to Shawnee to be a Clinic Accountant.
Dillon Robinson - Board Member
Dillon Robinson is a Broker Associate with Pam Robinson Real Estate, Inc., a family owned business that started in 1997. Dillon graduated from Prague High School in 2007 and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma graduating with a Bachelor's degree in advertising and mass communication in 2011.
Dillon obtained his real estate license in 2010 and began working for Pam Robinson Real Estate, Inc. Dillon received his Broker's license in March of 2018. Dillon has served for numerous organizations and boards during his career, including: Seminole Chamber of Commerce as a board member, Seminole Rotary Club as organization member, Seminole Main Street as president to name a few. He is dedicated to the future of Seminole and its residents. Dillon resides in Seminole with his wife of 4 years.
