School Board

The Academy was formed with help from Advance Rural Education (ARE), a nonprofit organization. ARE was created by Enviro Systems, Inc.’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Paul Campbell, in March 2016 to support the Academy and other rural educational initiatives.

Additionally, Daniel Wyatt, Barbara Adams, and Lee Denney (no longer a member) became the first board members of the Academy of Seminole. Dillon Robinson later joined the board, along with Sheldon McCoy. Each board member’s resume will be discussed in more detail below, but in general the members selected offered a wide range of experience in education policy, financial and strategic planning, as well as an interest in the specific needs of students in Seminole (with two of the members having children in the Seminole School District).
